I approach tutoring holistically, with the pupil’s individual needs always in mind. If you book a lesson with me, expect there to usually be a lesson prepared in advance, and I will always try to focus those lessons on a topic the student is struggling with. I tend to try to keep the student engaged asking questions and checking their learning by getting them to explain the concept to me themselves. I also try to include extra resources and materials into my lessons (powerpoints, useful website links, helpful YouTube videos with animations for visual concepts such as DNA replication) to ensure the child takes lots away from my lessons.
