Hi, I’m Adam, an experienced maths tutor in Glasgow with a passion for teaching Mathematics and Physics. I studied Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Glasgow and I am now completing a PhD in Aerospace Engineering. Alongside my research, I have worked as a tutor for more than five years, helping students gain confidence and improve results.
As a maths tutor in Glasgow, I support learners at every stage of the Curriculum for Excellence. I teach SQA National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher Maths. I also provide physics tutoring in Glasgow aswell, at the same levels. I also help students prepare for international courses such as A-Level, IB, and IGCSE.
Parents describe my lessons as clear and engaging. Students say I explain difficult topics in a way that makes sense. Over the years, my learners have achieved higher grades and developed stronger problem-solving skills. Many of them moved from struggling to earning top results.
My teaching approach is simple: break concepts down, practise step by step, and build confidence along the way. I use examples from engineering and real-world science to make lessons interesting. Every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to match individual goals and learning styles.
If your child wants to secure a strong pass at National 5, aim for an A at Higher, or prepare for university, I can help. I focus on both subject knowledge and exam technique, ensuring students feel ready when it matters most.
If you are looking for an approachable, reliable maths tutor in Glasgow who also specialises in Physics, I would love to support you. With my academic background and proven track record, I can help your child reach their full potential.
