I am a Maths and Biology Tutor. I’m currently in my 4th year of Medicine at the University of Glasgow (2019 – Present). I completed an Intercalated BSc in Cardiovascular Medicine Studies last year and am now progressing with my last year of Medicine as usual. I am a former student of Linlithgow Academy, which is a school located 20 miles from Edinburgh and carried out my National 5, Higher’s and Advanced Higher’s there.

I worked as a Maths Tutor at Kumon, and this has taught me invaluable skills which I shall carry on whilst working at Central Tutors. During university, I help tutor aspiring medical students by helping them with their interviews and personal statements. Both these tutoring jobs taught me how to explain complicated concepts in a simple manner as well as being organised and planning lessons beforehand so that scheduled meetings go as planned.

I enjoy engaging my students in my lessons, by asking them what they would like out of it and how confident they feel about the topic we are about to do. When it is required, I am willing to send out extra material/ have extra sessions close to exams to make sure the students achieve a good pass in their exams.
