I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Edinburgh, currently working in the financial services industry. With 5 years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding and achieve their academic goals.

I bring a personable and engaging approach to every session, ensuring lessons are comprehensive, insightful and tailored to each student.

At Central Tutors, I support students in Maths and Physics across the SQA curriculum, including National 5 and Higher. My engineering background has given me a strong foundation in mathematical and scientific problem-solving, which I bring into my tutoring where appropriate.

I have 5 years of tutoring experience, supporting students across Maths and Physics at different stages of secondary education.

My experience includes helping students improve their understanding, confidence and problem-solving skills, while tailoring lessons to suit each student’s individual needs and learning style.

I have worked with students preparing for SQA National 5 and Higher assessments, using a combination of clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice and exam-style questions to strengthen both subject knowledge and exam technique.
