Hello, I’m Susan, a successful secondary school Maths teacher with 20+ years experience, including 6 years as Head of Department.

I have an in depth knowledge & understanding of the SQA curriculum, including exams up to Higher level. Additionally, I have marked SQA Higher Maths exam papers & know how to maximise results.

I love teaching & tutoring Maths & have helped many students to reach their goals, including achieving excellent exam results with N5 and Higher Maths & N5 Applications of Maths.

I have experience of tutoring a wide range of ages & abilities from late Primary to Higher Maths, including students with additional needs & those who have struggled to thrive in a classroom environment. I have received lots of positive feedback from students and parents & on several occasions tutored siblings as they progressed from P5 to S5!

My students are delighted by how quickly they progress & develop confidence in Maths. Their parents are impressed that their children are enjoying Maths, often for the 1st time.

I have tutored both 1 to 1 and also to small groups, usually in weekly sessions of 60 or 90 minutes, often with some additional sessions prior to SQA exams.
