I’m Sekemi, a dedicated Maths, Chemistry and Biology tutor in Scotland offering structured, confidence-building tutoring for SQA students. I’m a third-year medical student at the University of Edinburgh, currently intercalating in Biomedical and Health Applied Data Science.

I achieved A grades in all of my SQA qualifications, including Advanced Higher Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Statistics. I also achieved five A grades at Higher, including Biology and Chemistry. This gives me a strong understanding of what it takes to succeed in Scottish exams and how to build consistent performance under pressure.

I tutor students at National 5 and Higher level, and I focus on building strong foundations first. I then develop exam skills and confidence through targeted practice. Many students struggle because they feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start. I help them break topics into clear steps and feel in control of their learning again.

Alongside subject tutoring, I have supported secondary pupils with university preparation, including UCAT guidance, personal statements, and general application advice. This work strengthened my communication skills and taught me how to motivate learners who need reassurance and structure.
