- Relevant degree: All our maths tutors have at a degree/studying for a degree in maths or related subject such as engineering. Some of our tutors are qualified to PhD level and other are qualified teachers in Scottish Schools.
- Experience with CfE: Experience teaching or tutoring within the Scottish education system and familiarity with the CfE is important.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Good communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain maths concepts clearly. Putting the student first and ensuring that they are comfortable in the environment with the tutor.
